Since the year 1980 the team from the Poznan-based studio has produced over 270 short animated films winning 147 prizes and distinctions at domestic and international festivals, including 18 awards granted by the Children's Jury and 5 press awards.

Since the year 1990 the films made at the Poznan Studio have been shown at over 450 festivals and special screenings all over the world.

The films made by artists from the Poznan Studio have been awarded the following prizes: for scripts, design, direction, animation , for " perfect transposition of music into pictures ", for " the creativeness of the form and imaginativeness ", for " the best TV films " and " the best video clips for children ", for " stylistic purity of animated painting ", for " the original film design " and for " special artistic value ".

"TV Studio Filmów Animowanych Sp. z o.o." in Poznan was established on 26 June 2001, after the transformation of The Television Studio of Animation Films, operating in the years 1980 - 2001 within the organisational structures of Polish Television S.A., into a new business entity, a limited liability company.

Ninety percent of the share capital of TV Studio Filmów Animowanych Sp. z o.o. is held by employees and business partners of Television Studio of Animation Films in Poznan while Polish Television S.A. holds the remaining 10% of the share capital.

TV SFA Sp. z o. o. co-operates with a team of professionals, which includes film producers, graphic designers, set designers, animators, copyists, painters, computer graphics experts, picture operators, production manager and other auxiliary personnel assisting in the production of animated films.

TV SFA Sp. z o. o. has at its disposal computer studios equipped with the latest generation graphics stations used for creating animated films in the 2D technology.

TV SFA Sp. z o. o. holds a license for the Cambridge Animation System - ANIMO PROFESSIONAL (Director, Ink&Paint, Pencil Tester) software, a license for the VideoToaster3 sound and vision editing program and licenses for the Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and other software.

TV SFA Sp. z o. o. makes mostly animated films for children using the 2D drawing techniques.

TV SFA Sp. z o.o. is an artistic and ideological successor to the 20-years-long heritage and experience of Television Studio of Animation Films.
